Do I smell a grouch? I'm sure that, allowing for inflation, you got more than $35 worth of candy as a kid at Hallowe'en.

I'm in two minds about buying the candy. If we do buy in a load of it, only a few kids call and we get left with it. If we don't buy any we get many callers and end up having to give them money instead! It's a no-win situation, though I suppose I could always eat the left-overs!

I started with Here's A Lolly, Little One... but couldn't finish it, and ended with this cruel response to a trick-or-treater:

Have A Lizard, Little One - Witches Eat Eye-of-Newt!

The second draft of that expansion is:

Have A Lizard-Like Oculus - Witches Employ Eye-of-Newt!

Trickertreat's costume was very good - I'm not sure who it was.

Not me...I don't take my own joke acronyms seriously...just the serious ones.  Mighta been Tony, or possibly Edwin.  Assuming it was tony I actually came up with the first TONY expansion, so let's just say that was who it was until we have evidence it was Edwin or someone.

Guilty until proven innocent, eh?
Maybe it was that SmartyPants lurker who intruded recently, or any other lurker who we don't know of, but who couldn't resist having a go? But in the absence of anyone claiming credit/blame, I'd like to consult a lawyer, please ;-)
