I work for the VA in the R&D department, working on Clinical Research Studies. We have a new online data acquisition program that is up & running and of course need an acronym.
some words to use are:
data
acquisition
retrieval
clinical trials
clinical research
CSP
online/web-based
program
application
can you help?

I'm guessing here that VA is Veterans' Administration, and that CSP is Clinical Study Program?
Data acquisition is a job for a

Could this program perhaps be used as a VIRTUAL DOCTOR?
Veterans' Information Resource That Uses A Large Database Of Clinical Trials; Online Retrieval.
If VA actually stands for somthing else, whatever the V word is could perhaps be substituted for Veterans'. Perhaps even VA's Information Resource...

Aah, I just checked out http://www.va.gov and VA is, as Tony suspected, the Department of Veterans Affairs. So it's about people who have literally been in the wars... maybe relevant clinical trials should also be in the WARS: Web Application Retrieving Studies

Since this database doesn't have a name yet, what should I call the category in which these acronyms go on the site? Dawn, have you decided on a name for it?
