Roger Williams submitted:
Acronym: PENCIL
Expansion: Printing Enabled. Notable Contribution Is Lead!

I beg your pardon but
PENCIL
Plumbus's Excluded, Now Carbon's In Lieu

Pencils have never, ever contained lead. Carbon in the form of graphite has been misnamed for ages.

It's time for some PEDANTRY.

Plumbum Est.  Don't Alter Nixages, That's Rather Yucky.

If anyone can think of a better N word for an ending, let me know.

As I have no idea where Nixages comes from, Nding would almost be better! How about forgetting about endings entirely and going for Notation?

Nixages from Nix = terminate.  I considered Nding but Nixage (if, indeed, such a word exists) is more pure.

Notation, perhaps.

I've searched Google for nixages with no results. A search for nixage yields posts about '*nixage' referring to Unix/Minix and other *nixes.

We're not averse to making up words, here, but if you choose to use Nixages it would be a good idea to apronymise it as an explanation.

It's your call.
