However, as you can probably tell, I don't really do hardware. The completely unfeasible circuit diagram which is both the background and the sitemap of this site is evidence to that. As I've always had laptops, I never had piles of cheap hardware I could muck around with, so the most adventurous thing I've done was install some RAM on my PowerBook.
