Angela Brett, after MIDDLE EAST, thinking that although you could continue forever going east or west, the middle of the space in which you can go east or west, or the middle east-west line, is the equator. (I originally considered 'Longitudinal Expressions' as east goes from one longitude to another, but it later occurred to me that Latitudinal makes more sense as East goes along latitude lines.
