Otherwise we can only make up some random description of nobody in particular, and if there happens to be a Carley which fits the description it's just a fluke. It takes the 'apro' out of 'apronym'.
However, I can expand it based on the meaning of the name. Carley comes from ceorl, an Ancient Germanic word meaning "Freeholder." Not much to work with there, but I'll give it a go:
